“Seetha Lava Kusha” Temple is located near Pulpally, 32 kilometres from Kalpetta and 25 kilometres from Sulthan Bathery. This is the only known temple dedicated to Lord Rama’s sons, Lava and Kusha.
A beautiful mountain stream that flows from the Brahmagiri Hills and has sacred importance for Hindus. One temple is at the Sulthan Bathery, built during the 13th century. The other temple is the Panamaram, built during the Hoysala dynasty. These temples are magnificent stone sculptures, with stone carvings symbolizing both Vaishnava and Jain beliefs.
It is named after the Pazhassi Raja. The Tomb is standing silent, reminiscent of the fight for supremacy against the British by the Pazhassi king.
