Chembra peaks, Banasura Hills, Edakkal caves, and most waterfalls offer adventurous trekking options. Chembra peak is the most elevated Peak in Wayanad, and once conquered, it provides a spectacular view of the surrounding. The elevation is 2100 m above sea level and is maintained by the forest department. The entire trail presents breathtaking views of the exotic fauna and flora of the region. The forest department organizes the treks here, and one can have guided tours. The most conspicuous part of the adventure is the heart-shaped lake that falls on the trekking path. If we go by the local belief, it is assumed that Goddess Sita took a bath in the Chembra Peak lake, and its water never dries. Trek to the Edakkal caves, Pakshipatalam trek, and the treks to the waterfalls are also popular among tourists.\n <\/li>\n
